Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing
this site, and pages thereof, and by using The G.A.S. Company
service you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below
and any statement on all designs & web pages of the The G.A.S. Company. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions,
do not access this site, or any pages thereof, or utilize The G.A.S. Company services and information. We reserve the
right to change our terms and conditions without notice.
Type of Service
The G.A.S. Company, also known as thegascomp.com, provides
custom graphics-related services. The G.A.S. Company reserves
the right to modify its product offering and pricing at will and
without notice. All orders are required a 50% deposit of your
total sum and is non-refundable upon first sample
created and 50% on completion. NOTE: We do not accept Echecks.
Copyright Release
With the use of The
G.A.S. Company custom design services, the Customer
acknowledges that The G.A.S. Company is the legal owner and/or
licensee of all artwork (or likeness) created by The G.A.S. Company and have
full copyrights unless specified otherwise (in writing).
All clients MUST
completely review their design's within one week of sample
design emailed. Website design MUST be reviewed and complete
feedback provided within 10 days of first sample, failure to
provide feedback (via email) will be deem as forfeited (that
includes web design). The G.A.S. Company takes no
responsibility for misspellings or grammar errors. Reprints will
not be granted to project that have been approved and sent to
print.
Color Accuracy
The G.A.S. Company is a Graphic Design company. We match color
through the pantone matching system The accuracy of each color
reproduction is guaranteed to be within 90-95%. We accept no
responsibility for color variations between images and the actual
artwork or product they represent.
Promotional Usage
Use of the The G.A.S. Company website and of the The G.A.S.
Company graphic design service grants The G.A.S. Company the
right to use any of The G.A.S. Company produced material and
printed product, in part or in whole, for promotional purposes
in Internet, Electronic, Audio, and Printed Media, as it is
related to The G.A.S. Company, the The G.A.S. Company website,
and the The G.A.S. Company graphic design service.
Artwork Proofs
The G.A.S. Company requires the customer to approve a proof
generated by a offset printer. Depending on the Pricing for
all products can include a computer screen soft proof in the
format of either a Joint Photographic Experts Group file (JPEG)
or an Adobe Acrobat Reader Portable Document file (PDF file).
Please note that the JPEG or PDF proofs are generated for the
customer to verify and approve the layout, content, and text
of their artwork. The JPEG or PDF proofs do not guarantee accurate
color representation and color match of the customer's artwork.
If an accurate color match is required from the customer, The
G.A.S. Company requires the purchase and the signed approval
of a hard proof (color calibrated digital proof).
Logo Designing
The G.A.S.
Company designs 3 sample logo types (based on your ideas or
ours) for you to choose from. Clients must choose from the 3
samples one and have up to 5 changes to complete their logo
design. If you do not find that any of the 3 logo samples are
what you desire, The G.A.S. Company will design one additional
logo (client providing detailed guidelines) at a cost of $25 per
hour additional to your current deposit.
Clients/Vendors Artwork
Submission
Artwork provided by
clients or vendors, will be reviewed by us and recommendations
to the artwork will be given to client/vendors. We will no
assume any responsibility for any grammar, text errors or
inaccurate color representation and color match of the
customer's/vendors artwork Artwork submitted to us for printing
.
Privacy Policy for Web Visitors
One can visit our Web site with privacy. A Web site visitor
can choose to provide customer-specific information by ordering
a product or service, sending us e-mail. Any information provided
by a Web site visitor is held strictly confidential within The
G.A.S. Company and will not be sold to any other organization
or business, but will be shared as necessary with third party
suppliers, vendors, or agents whose services you use, or from
when you make requests or purchases.
Cookie Policy
The term "cookie" refers to small files that are transferred
from a Web site to your computer's hard drive. The purpose of
cookies is to enable the host Web site to display tailored information
to you on the Web site. The use of cookies is an industry standard
used by most major Web sites. The G.A.S. Company does not use
cookies to gather demographic or personal information for marketing
purposes. The G.A.S. Company will not share the information
in our cookies or give others access to this information. The
G.A.S. Company does not use cookies to pull data from your hard
drive to learn of demographic or personal information. The G.A.S.
Company has access only to the information stored in our cookies;
and can not view data in cookies created by other Web sites.
Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you'd
prefer, you can set yours to refuse cookies or to alert you
when cookies are being sent. However, it is possible that some
parts of the site will not function properly if you do so.
Refund and Cancellation
Policy
For Design and
Print/Web Material
Orders are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, once we begin
your order.
All Print/Web Orders contracted to and manufactured by The G.A.S.
Company are high-quality, customized products. Therefore, The
G.A.S. Company cannot restock or reuse any design and its related
material, including logos, ads, stationary, flyers, posters
etc…
By the act of the customer's order confirmation and proof approval,
the customer formally instructs The G.A.S. Company to proceed
and complete print production of the customer's order. Once
proof approval and print production commences, The G.A.S. Company
cannot cancel the order and cannot provide a refund.
In addition, the customer acknowledges shipment receipt of the
approved print order and cannot refuse receipt of shipment.
In addition, the Customer cannot refuse payment of print order
if client has approved their artwork proof and confirmed the
order.
Since all print orders contracted to and manufactured by The
G.A.S. Company are high quality, customized products, credit
card payments are charged prior to print production and shipment.
Filing A Complaint And Reprint/Credit Policy
The Customer can file a complaint regarding a print order within
30 days of receipt of order. After 30 days of receipt of design
order, the Customer waives any right to file a complaint and
receive design credit.
The Customer must file a complaint in writing by letter, fax,
or email. The G.A.S. Company cannot accept verbal complaints.
The Customer must provide the Order Number and a detailed description
of the complaint/issue.
Please note use of the design order by the customer constitutes
acceptance of the order and the customer immediately waives
any right to file a complaint and receive design credit.
If it is discovered that The G.A.S. Company has committed an
error in the customer's order, The G.A.S. Company, upon its
discretion, will redesign at The G.A.S. Company’s expense.
A reprint constitutes reprinting an order based on previously
approved digital artwork, film, paper, and finishing (such as
coating, machine folding, etc.). If the customer wishes to change
any aspect of the previously approved order, the customer is
not entitled to a reprint and is responsible for all costs.
The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling upgrade
costs.
